The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario – Upper Canada Local is the local that represents contract elementary teachers who teach for the Upper Canada District School Board. The Board and hence our geographic area, spans over 12,000 sq. Kilometres encompassing the counties of Lanark, Leeds, Grenville, Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Prescott and Russell.
The Federation provides legal assistance to defend members against allegations that are related to the member’s teaching duties or employment responsibilities.
Classroom evacuations are a disruption to routine and can be upsetting for our members. Please take the time to “Make a Report” (button below), which will take you less than two minutes to complete. Responses will be shared with the ETFO Vice-President attached to your school who will follow up with you to review reporting options and possible actions.
